About
Evening Chair is a chair for the end of the day, and someone in the other one. It is hard to talk to people now, and harder when the thing you need to say is the thing you are not proud of: the bet, the drink, the porn, the temper, the eating, the hours lost to a game, or any type of bad habit you keep meaning to change. This is a safe place to let it out, with no judgement. Someone sits with you, listens, supports you in what you are going through, and writes the evening down so it is still there tomorrow.
That is the accountability. You pick one of four people. Mateo, Sable, Cal, June each keep their own journal and each write in their own way. Tomorrow they remember what you told them and ask how it went. What you tell them stays in the book, one page for each day, until you delete it, and the book follows your account to any phone or laptop.
They are not real people, and they are not a doctor. The Terms say plainly what they will and will not do. Questions and notes go to connor@eveningchair.com.
